Update from previous release regarding ASB in Sutton Bridge |
||
|
Following the reports of antisocial behaviour in Sutton Bridge recently we have arrested a 15-year-old boy from Sutton Bridge on 4 February. He has been interviewed and been bailed with conditions to prevent offending pending a youth panel considering the appropriate criminal disposal. He was arrested for offences of aggravated vehicle taking with consent which relates to a moped and public order offences. The JDP (Joint Diversionary Panel) is made up of representatives from Lincolnshire Police, Lincolnshire Youth Justice Service and other agencies who work together to ensure a consistent and holistic approach. The JDP also have Victim Liaison Officers who attend panel sessions to ensure the voice of the victim is heard, and support is offered. This approach ensures victim’s are heard as well as ensuring that children are given sufficient options to divert away from criminality. | ||
